Naming nominations are now live… Rubick X Slainte needs a name and this one is up to you.
Rubick X Slainte, trained by leading trainer Bjorn Baker, was purchased at the 2018 Gold Coast Magic Millions from Willow Park Stud for $275,000 and has now been nominated for the Magic Millions and Golden Slipper.
Why am I suggesting names for this horse?.
From day one of miRunners’ existence, it has been about the collective power of the public and the racing community.
On top of making racehorse ownership affordable, everyday Australians have been involved in naming miRunners’ first four horses, Zoushack, Saganaki, Not A Royal Doubt and Shezawitness, as well as designing the miRunners racing silks.
Allowing the public to submit names for the next horse is a continuation of that mantra. Please note that while everyone can submit a name, you need to be an owner to vote for the winning name.
The signs that this filly will be running early are high. And as such we expect this filly to be fully sold before the end of October – so if you are considering buying, buy today so you don’t miss out on the full ownership experience.

After the public nominations, the most creative entries will be shortlisted based on Racing Australia’s naming regulations. The shortlisted names will then be voted on by the owners of Rubick X Slainte.
If your name is the winning entry, not only will you be able to see and hear your name racing around the track, you will receive a pre-paid Visa card for the amount of $290 (the amount needed to buy into a miRunners horse plus your first month of fees.)
