Global Eclipse is off to Ballarat on Monday
The ever-consistent Global Eclipse is heading back to the races this Monday 3rd of November in Race 7 at Ballarat, a Benchmark 62 Handicap over 1600m. He has drawn Barrier 4 and Jamie Mott will take the ride. We can’t wait to see him back at the races and wish his large ownership group the best of luck, we can’t wait to see you all trackside!
Donny – our Pinatubo x Brave Lass colt is right at home at Royal Randwick
Donny, our Pinatubo (IRE) x Brave Lass (USA) colt is keeping fantastic company at Royal Randwick where he is currently in training with Michael Freedman for his second preparation. In the video above, you can see how relaxed and happy he is, and how much he is impressing his Golden Slipper winning trainer. You heard it here first, Michael Freedman encourages YOU to get involved in him – shares are available from 0.5% right through to 10% under our NEW miRunners Platinum Syndicate.
All systems go for COBAR – Only 12 Units Remain!
Our promising 2YO colt COBAR is doing everything right with the team at Hayfields Racing in Victoria. The grandson of SNITZEL is building his fitness nicely and has had a number of unofficial jump out’s where he has really impressed the team with his can-do attitude and handy gate speed!
Cobar completed another ‘Jump & Run’ (unofficial jump-out) at the end of last week and the team are now confident that he is ready to head to an official barrier trial in the near future. After that… it won’t be long before we hopefully see him ping the gates at his first race start!
Xtravagant Johnny is ticking all the boxes
Our very exciting 2YO gelding Xtravagant Johnny is ticking all the boxes during his Pre-Training at Jake Capewell’s in Queensland. He is nice and forward in the coat and is loving his work. It won’t be long before he heads back into the stables at Eagle Farm with Tony Gollan and his team. All roads lead to the Magic Millions in January…
Farcited looks a million dollars during his Spell
Our 2025 Golden Slipper runner Farcited (Farnan x I Am Excited) is enjoying his spell at Kia Ora. The Group 3 Black Opal runner up has now being gelded and is enjoying his recovery time with the sun on his back. We can’t wait to see him back in at the stables at Tulloch Lodge in time where he can really focus on being a race horse now that he has had the ultimate gear change! As always, he is looking a million dollars and is a happy, healthy horse. A big thank you to the team at Kia Ora for looking after our special lad.
Don’t forget to buy your shares in Freddy… before it’s TOO LATE
Rusty Tycoon is thriving during Pre-Training at Kolora Lodge in Queensland. He is building up his fitness nicely and as you can see from the video above, he is a very happy and sound horse! It won’t be long and he will be back in work at Eagle Farm with Robert Heathcote and his team.
While we are on the topic of Robert Heathcote, how about that training effort last weekend with ROTHFIRE! A horse that has not had an easy race career and has come back from soundness issues to then be winning at Group level as an 8 year old is a true testament to Rob and his team. We are so privileged here at miRunners to have a number of horses in work with him.
Spring Carnival Success: Emeran Park
Our partners at Emeran Park are nothing short of exceptional at what they do, and we are so proud to have them break in, pre-train and spell our horses. This Spring Carnival, they have reaped the rewards of all of their hard work at the highest level, with a number of their regulars achieving huge success at Group level.
This Spring so far, Emeran Park regulars (whether they be a pre-trainer, speller or breaker) have won the following Group races: The G3 Sydney Stakes, The G1 King Charles III Stakes, The G3 Moonga Stakes, The G3 Bill Ritchie Handicap, The G2 Schillaci Stakes, and The G2 Premier Stakes, and the Spring Carnival is not over yet!
The results speak for themselves, when the partners of miRunners are having such incredible success, it lets our owners know that our horses are getting the best start to their race-careers, having their early education and being produced by individuals that have so much proven success. A huge congratulations to the whole team at Emeran Park for your Spring success so far.
