Global Eclipse returns to the races this Sunday
Global Eclipse will line up in Race 6 at Traralgon in Victoria. A BM62 over 1900m. Olivia East takes the ride, she is a fantastic jockey who guided ex-miRunners horse Cardiologist to his second career win! After placing at both of his last two starts this preparation, the team are sure Global Eclipse is knocking on the door for another win!
At his last start, he certainly didn’t love the heavy ground and yet he still motored home to give his large ownership group a 2nd place. He is as honest as the day is long and we can’t wait to cheer him home on Sunday!

Farnished is heading to the races
Following two fantastic trials this preparation from Farnished, the time has come for him to head to the races! Such an exciting time for his patient owners. The son of Farnan has continued to improve this preparation under the guidance of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. He has built his fitness nicely and has really learnt how to relax and listen to his rider. We can’t wait to see him at the races next week at Warwick Farm. Keep an eye on our socials for the results.
A look around the Cranbourne training complex
This amazing piece caught our attention earlier in the week, created by 7HorseRacing – it takes a closer look at the elite facilities at the Cranbourne Training Complex. Our boy Global Eclipse is trained out of here as well as our 2YO Graff x Correlate colt – both trained by the Price Kent Racing team. A super video for all our owners to gain further insight to these world-class facilities that our miRunners horses get to utilise.
Hear from Michael Kent Jnr and take a tour at the amazing Cranbourne Training Complex in Victoria.
The team loves Rusty & everything he is doing
Rusty Tycoon has been impressing the team at Robert Heathcote Racing once again as he continues to enjoy this preparation. He has only been back in for a few weeks so is still building his fitness and get back into tip top shape before he will start to intensify his work next week to build towards a Trial and then back to the races.
There is a video below of him the sand roll, here’s a little bit of information on sand rolls and why trainer’s love to utilise them:
1. Coat and Skin Care
Natural grooming: Rolling helps horses loosen shedding hair, dust, and sweat.
Itch relief: The abrasive texture of sand helps relieve any skin irritation.
Protection: After rolling, sand can create a thin layer that helps repel insects.
2. Muscle & Back Relaxation
Rolling stretches the horse’s back and neck muscles.
It helps them release tension after work or training, similar to a natural massage.
3. Mental Relaxation & Stress Relief
Rolling is a natural equine behavior and is deeply satisfying for them.
Allowing a horse to roll after exercise reduces stress and improves overall well-being.
4. Cooling Off After Work
Damp horses often roll to dry and cool their skin.
Sand does not pack tightly like mud, so it’s safer and cleaner.
5. Hoof and Skin Hygiene
Sand dries moisture and sweat, helping prevent conditions.
6. Safe Environment for Rolling
Horses will roll regardless—but doing it in a prepared sand area reduces the risk of:
Getting cast (stuck against a wall)
Injury on rocks or hard ground
Twisting or slipping
Val De Grise trial post-poned… again
Well, Val De Grise was told she was moving to sunny Queensland… but this week it has been far from that. With severe thunderstorms and torrential rain all week, it has caused the trials to continually be post-poned or abandoned. Though the team at Robert Heathcote racing have assured us that Val De Grise is happily ticking over and patiently waiting her turn to head to the trials.
Val De Grise has done nothing but improve over the last 6 months – something we thought would happen at around this age, being by a stallion who does typically throw horses that need extra time and strengthening. Val De Grise will head to the trials ASAP and we can’t wait to see how she goes. As you can see in the video below, she is a very happy and healthy horse.
Dusty Tycoon is 2nd Scan Positive to SWITZERLAND!
Great news out of the North Bloodstock head quarters this week! With our beautiful girl Dusty Tycoon having her second pregnancy scan (30 days). She scanned positive in foal and the team are very happy with how everything is coming along. She will be scanned again at 45 days – we will keep all of her loving fans updated!
The gift that keeps on giving this Christmas!
Donny has just completed his second preparation with Michael Freedman at Randwick, where he was a perfect gentleman – doing everything that was asked of him. Michael feels he will be a colt that we will most likely see have his first race start during the Autumn Carnival next year and therefore he has now gone for a short break in the paddock before he returns to Randwick and will start to build his fitness heading towards his first race start.
Shares are proving very popular with Donny – with only limited shares available, you can head to our website via the link below to get involved!
Our 2YO Graff colt ‘Jake’ has now successfully completed his second preparation with the Price Kent Racing team at Cranbourne. He has now gone for a well earned break. We are so excited about this colt – he has the most professional attitude and really looks like a ready-made race horse. Something about Jake that you may not have realised, is that he out of a Not A Single Doubt mare. Not A Single Doubt as a Broodmare Sire has earnings over $4,000,000 this season so far and over $13,000,000 last season – now that is seriously impressive. Shares are available in Jake via our website, follow the link below to get involved, but be quick to get in before Christmas – he is selling out fast!
