Rusty Tycoon is back in fine form at Eagle Farm

Rusty Tycoon returned to the Rob Heathcote stable at Eagle Farm this week and is already impressing. The now 3YO has always shown great ability and now that he is developing and growing more into himself, he is really starting to give us something to be excited about! He will continue to build his fitness and head towards a trial and then off to the races all going to plan.

The Magic Millions Catalogue is OUT NOW!

It’s that time of year again… and we are beyond excited! Magic Millions has once again released a mouth watering yearling sales catalogue and our Bloodstock Team have already started to earmark their favourite lots. You can view the catalogue via the link below… get studying, there’s an exciting competition coming to miRunners next week.

As usual, the miRunners Bloodstock team will be participating in a number of on-farm parades in the Hunter Valley during the month of December – to ensure a large percentage of horses are inspected before arriving on the Gold Coast in January.

Global Eclipse a brave 2nd at Pakenham last Friday night

Global Eclipse was immensely brave last Friday in the very testing conditions at Pakenham. Our ever consistent son of Pierata didn’t love the conditions during the heavy rain and very soft track, but he still managed to pull a 2nd placing out the bag. All reports from the Price Kent Racing team are that he has come through the run very well and will be knocking on the door for a win once he is back above the ground. You can watch the replay in the video above.

Jake is thriving at Cranbourne with the Price Kent Racing team

Our 2YO Graff colt ‘Jake’ is thriving at Cranbourne with the Price Kent Racing team! We are so excited about this colt – he has the most professional attitude and really looks like a ready-made race horse. As he builds his fitness, he will give us a better indication on when he may head to an official jump out and then to the races. Shares are available in Jake via our website, follow the link below to get involved!

See Jake all settled in at the Price Kent Racing team this week, looking professional as ever.

GRAFTERBURNERS (another son of Graff) took his earnings to over $600,000 over last weekend when he saluted first up at Eagle Farm in Race 7, a QTIS 3YO Handicap. The colt has now won 3 from 9 starts including the 2025 $500k QTIS Jewel. Cementing his sire as one of the young-guns to watch on the sire ranks…

Farcited is loving his Spell at Kia Ora Stud

Our 2025 Golden Slipper runner is enjoying a spell post gelding. We all know how much talent and potential this special boy has and we are looking forward to seeing him return as a gelding in the coming months, where he can really focus on the job at hand – being a racehorse! For now, he is enjoying his spell at Kia Ora Stud in the Hunter Valley where the team are very happy with him – he is a happy healthy horse and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.

Dusty Tycoon is Pregnant!

A super exciting week for us here at miRunners and North Bloodstock. Our very special girl Dusty Tycoon had a change of mating to Group 1 winner SWITZERLAND who stands at Coolmore Stud, Australia. She was covered just over a fortnight ago and earlier this week, she scanned positive in foal! This is such a special moment for everyone involved, and for all her adoring fans. We can’t wait to see the much anticipated son or daughter of Dusty Tycoon and Switzerland next season.

Switzerland, a son of Snitzel who is the fasted ever winner of the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.

Other available horses at miRunners

We currently have two horses available at miRunners, Jake who was mentioned in the article above and another 2YO colt by Pinatubo (IRE) called ‘Donny’. All our other 2025 purchases are now SOLD OUT!
Donny has just completed his second preparation with Michael Freedman at Randwick, where he was a perfect gentleman – doing everything that was asked of him. Michael feels he will be a colt that we will most likely see have his first race start during the Autumn Carnival next year and therefore he has now gone for a short break in the paddock before he returns to Randwick and will start to build his fitness heading towards his first race start.

Donny was nominated for the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes this week, which gave us great confidence that Michael Freedman really likes what he sees. Shares are proving very popular with Donny – with only limited shares available, you can head to our website via the link below to get involved!
