miRunners Raceday Recap- Dusty Tycoon and Zoushack

Dusty Tycoon and Zoushack headlined the quality of miRunners horses as they gave the whole community a reason to celebrate over the past fortnight. The excitement was highlighted by race caller Josh Fleming as Dusty Tycoon stormed passed the Sunshine Coast Turf Club winning post first. “And I can hear the miRunners team cheering from up here,” he said. These cheers continued all the way down to Victoria as Zoushack tackled the Magic Millions 3&4YO Classic. In his first start in a month, finishing fourth in a quality field, it was a promising indication that miRunners owners just may get…

Everest Day 2018 – A day to remember for many Zoushack owners

Last year on Everest Day, Zoushack made his debut in the Victory Vein Plate on a dismal day at Randwick. It surely wasn’t a dismal day for Zoushack owners however, who enjoyed every minute of their ownership experience. With over 40,000 attendees there for Australia’s richest race on turf, Zoushack owners felt like royalty watching their boy take to the track for the first time. Experiencing the mounting yard at Randwick and meeting trainer David Hayes as well as two-time Everest winning jockey Kerrin McEvoy is something they will never forget.  Not much went right for Zoushack in the run,…

Zoushack makes it 2 wins from 2 runs this preparation with a gutsy finish

Zoushack put in a gutsy performance to make it 2 wins from 2 outings this preparation, winning Race 10 at Seymour by a literal nose hair. In a tight photo finish which looked to have nothing in it, Zoushack kicked back when it mattered to make it back to back wins. After being vetted at the gates, 3YO gelding Zoushack jumped well out of the barriers and settled at the front of the field, leading from start to finish. In saying this, there was great tension in the finish when it looked as though the fast-finishing Deploys Alone was going…

She has won 3 from 4 of her trials/jump outs over her two…

It’s another big week ahead for miRunners, as Gaelic Puzzle, Bellarine Beauty and Zoushack are all expected to hit the track. Premium thoroughbred ownership really is delivering on a lifetime’s ambition for miRunners owners

MiRunners owners are passionate about being first time owners in premium thoroughbred racehorses. You only have to read their comments and testimonials in the miRunners Facebook page, and see their faces and reactions when they meet their horses at our owners’ stable days, and how much they enjoy seeing their horse run,  to know how strong this passion is. And the stats are in: for most, being a thoroughbred owner is a lifetime’s ambition that, until now, has simply not been an option. MiRunners recently completed a survey of our owners. We spoke to 398 owners representing 22% of the…

Owners gain Everest Day access to Melbourne Cup winning trainer and jockey as Zoushack impresses

miRunners owners gained exclusive access on Everest Day to Melbourne Cup winning trainer, David Hayes and two-time Melbourne Cup winning jockey, Kerrin McEvoy, at Royal Randwick as their thoroughbred, Zoushack, impressed in a strong field on a heavy track in the first race. Zoushack’s first race Zoushack was nominated for the 1000-metre, $125,000 Victory Vein Plate after winning his latest barrier trial on a heavy track at Warwick Farm on the 8 October. After becoming unsettled in the barriers, Zoushack jumped reasonably well and headed forward. Following a squeezing from two outside runners early, he eventually joined a group of…

So instead of having to spend thousands of dollars every month, miRunners owners only needs to pay the initial purchase price ($165-275) and then a monthly fee of just $15. This fee covers everything: training, transport, food, admin, management, insurance, vet fees, legal fees, regular race nominations, the lot. A lot has…
