An insight into miEverest panel member Daniel O’Sullivan

It’s one of the toughest games on the planet. Not only being a professional punter but better than that, a successful one.  Daniel O’Sullivan has lived by his wits as a pro punter for the past 20 years. Always seeking ‘an edge’, Dan is analytical and lives by ethos of ‘there’s no such thing certainty’. Dan is known as a man who can “find the value runner” a horse he considers is over the odds.  Having established the Betsmart Racing Service (www.betsmart.racing), he has developed hundreds of articles for the punter, increasing education and knowledge across the industry. An insight into miEverest panel member Lizzie Jelfs

Not too many people globally have a better ‘eye’ for a thoroughbred than Lizzie Jelfs. She has quickly won over the toughest of all critics, “the Aussie punter”, with her mounting yard analysis on Sky Racing and the Seven Network, often providing winners a big odds. Go Lizzie! Originally hailing from Oxford in England (she’s almost dropped the accent), Jelfs came to Australia in 2001 with aspirations of becoming a jockey. Working under the tutelage of the great CS Hayes, Jelfs worked as the travelling foreperson for the Lindsay Park team. However, it is in-front of the camera where Jelfs…

And the winning name is…

Hearing your horse’s name broadcasted for the first time across the track and nationally on television is one of the many thrills of being a race horse owner. By casting a vote from a list of shortlisted suggestions, control is placed in the owner’s hands to select the winning name that will be called…

From the moment a horse enters the miRunners system, their welfare is always the highest priority. When Saganaki was retired from racing, we knew that only the most loving and caring home would do.
