An insight into miEverest panel member Mark Waugh

The only thing Mark Waugh enjoys more than reeling off centuries for his country, is analysing race form and backing winners at the track.  The man they call “Junior” thrilled the cricket world for over a decade, playing 128 Test matches and posting 20 majestic centuries. An insight into miEverest panel member Lizzie Jelfs

Not too many people globally have a better ‘eye’ for a thoroughbred than Lizzie Jelfs. Originally hailing from Oxford in England (she’s almost dropped the accent), Jelfs came to Australia in 2001 with aspirations of becoming a jockey. And the winning name is…

Hearing your horse’s name broadcasted for the first time across the track and nationally on television is one of the many thrills of being a race horse owner. The miRunners ownership model aims to engage the wider community to get involved with naming their horses by allowing suggestions to be submitted by the public.  An exclusive miRunners owner privilege is that the final racing name is selected only by owners involved in each horse. By casting a vote from a list of shortlisted suggestions, control is placed in the owner’s hands to select the winning name that will be called…
