About Not A Royal Doubt – Trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott

By the leading Australian sire, Not A Single Doubt, this filly is from the winning Royal Academy mare Royal Pageant who is a blood sister to stakes winner Academy Dancer and a half-sister to listed winners Omnitrader and Stockade.

The yearling’s dam, Royal Pageant, is by Royal Academy, one of Australia’s most sort after broodmare sires. This is a big tick in the box looking forward to potential early two-year-old racing.

Not A Single Doubt as a sire speaks for himself – he is a sire of eight Group 1 winners and importantly, perhaps more than any other sire, his progeny is very much noted as early two-year-old runners, so we are likely to know what we have on our hands soon.

Most of the time they are compact horses and have a lot of strength about them.

They are not always big horses but they definitely have that muscle definition consistent with early two-year-old runners.

This horse in particular has a very nice hindquarter and loose walk, and will be trained by the great Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.

Bought at the 2018 Gold Coast Magic Millions for $275,000 (inc. GST), this is a yearling by one of the most sort after stallions in Australia trained by world class trainers with fortunate circumstances enabling us to outbid one of the best judges in the country in James Bester who had her marked as his filly of the sale.
