It was an exciting morning at Doomben last Tuesday with Dusty Tycoon returning to the trials following her invasive throat surgery a few months ago, with Rob and her owners just absolutely thrilled to see her back at the track.
Dusty Tycoon showed us all that she still has it, putting in a super effort in her first trial back last week finishing second by a whisker. The best part is that she her breathing was perfect and she recovered well, which is all we can hope for at this stage. Watch a replay of her trial below:
She will now have one more trial next Tuesday at Doomben before heading to the races which will be the true test. Under race day conditions, we should be able to get a better indication as to whether the surgery has been successful. So far though, Rob couldn’t be happier with where she is at the moment and how she is progressing so we can’t wait to see her back at the races soon!
