Eduardo – Australia’s most improved sprinter– will represent miRunners in the 2020 Everest. The more than 2,000 individuals who have bought into miRunners 1,000 micro slots, at $880 each, were thrown a major curve ball when Rothfire broke down when running as the shortest priced favourite in Golden Rose history last weekend.
The 2,000 microslot holders were called on to refresh their vote for their preferred runner and the miRunners panel of Mark Waugh, Lizzie Jelfs, Dan O’Sullivan and Tye Angland were quick to move once the worst was confirmed for Rothfire.

“The panel have seen the improvement Joe Pride has been able to extract from just three runs for Eduardo, they have seen the run he had in The Shorts. The view from the panel is he doesn’t have to improve by much from The Shorts run to be right in the finish.”
Panel member Lizzie Jelfs has always maintained the advantages of selecting a horse that is close to the speed. A position that doesn’t depend on circumstances to enable the runner to be in the finish. Eduardo will be in the front half of the field, he will be ready to pounce if circumstances present. Rachel King has been secured as Eduardo’s rider for this incredible race and is riding in a style that on a number of measures is currently eclipsing most of the leading metro riders. Rachel is a great match for microslot holders.
