Northern Thunder is at ‘majority sold’ as the daughter of Snitzel continues to make an impression on her Eagle Farm based trainer Chris Munce. Having already had an official trial back in September jockey Sean Cormack labelled Rocky as being ‘very forward’.
“She got herself into the trial very quickly, quick off the mark, travelled beautifully, gave me a really good feel.” Cormack said.

In the most recent video report, Munce a Magic Millions 3yo Guineas winning trainer said “(Northern Thunder) is building up nicely, has spelled really really well we couldn’t be happier with her. She has good condition on her and her coat looks really well.”

In one of her very first preparations back in August, Waterhouse and Bott said that she “is doing everything asked of her and she has had a productive week with plenty of barrier education. She is nice and settled in the barriers and she had a pop out of the practice barriers which will really bring her on mentally.”
Following a lengthy spell at Emeran Park the filly has recently returned even stronger, now back into city life in preparation for her race debut.
