From the prestige of Royal Ascot to the pristine beaches of Queensland the in-form Toby Edmonds has experienced racing all around the world.
The Gold Coast-based horseman is a master of his craft who is no stranger in traveling horses between hemispheres to race on the global stage. Now currently in a training partnership with his son Trent, the combination knows what it takes to get a horse to excel, especially when it comes to fillies and mares.
Now is your chance to jump on board and exceed the ownership ride with Team Edmonds and miRunners. The unnamed two-year-old filly on offer by highly regarded sire Exceed and Excel out of Fate Rules boasts plenty of upside with units available to purchase from $200 and $16 per month.

Houtzen the current Edmonds stable star flew the flag in England earlier this year in June when the then four-year-old mare tackled Royal Ascot. Racing in the group one The King’s Stand Stakes, (Kerrin McEvoy who has also ridden miRunners winner Zoushack took the reins over the 1000m sprint). Finishing in 8th position after a misdemeanour at the start it would still have been a great thrill for Team Edmonds to race in front of royalty.
In 2017 the stable excelled in juvenile success when the filly recorded a home track victory in the Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YO Classic. The win by Houtzen showcased the talents of Edmonds as he selected this star-studded filly the previous year from the yearling sales.
A race record that includes 19 starts for seven wins, one second and two thirds for over $2 million in prizemoney from starts in group and listed races including The Golden Slipper, The Everest and Moir Stakes, there is no doubt that Edmonds is the perfect trainer for a miRunners two-year-old.

In what was a sired quinella for Exceed and Excel with Jabali finishing in second place, the scintillating filly went on to earn in excess of $1.7 million from 12 starts. One notable achievement was her third placing to Winx as a three-year-old were she was beaten by 2.9L in the Group 2 Furious Stakes.

The miRunners two-year-old affectionately known as ‘Grace Kelly’ has already enjoyed an education preparation in Edmonds Gold Coast stables. Identified as a ‘nice filly’ by the team her future sounds promising under the guidance of Australia’s leading strike rate trainer for the 2018/19 season.
“Moves great has a great attitude, good eater the whole lot… she will look super with a bit more time,” said Edmonds from a video report in early October.
Grace is now at the back end of her spell at Archer Park and from all reports she is progressing nicely. “As it is at this time of year, she is starting to lose her coat which is quite normal. It is starting to come out and she is looking really well” the Archer Park team said.
“She is a pleasure to do anything with, we are happy to have her around she has settled in really well here.”
