The Cox Plate, Golden Slipper and Sires Produce are races that are synonymous for producing Australian champions. In these group one races one common element stands out, the Snitzel factor.
And for the first time, affordable access to Australia’s champion sire is here with miRunners precocious 2yo filly Northern Thunder, trained by Chris Munce.
John Messera from Arrowfield Stud explained “These are races that owners dream about winning and Snitzel can make those dreams come true- his sons and daughters have already won them all.”
As a two-time Champion Sire of juveniles his 2YO progeny speaks for itself: a total of 213 wins with 30 at Group and listed level and 3 Group Ones. With total prizemoney for the 2018/19 season exceeding $20 million, there is no doubting the potential of the Snitzel breed.
The 2019 Magic Millions Classic was added to his stallion credentials as daughter, Exhilarates claimed the $2 million race. The filly who has now recorded four wins and three placings from nine starts, was one of his most significant earners in the 2019 season as he cemented himself for a third consecutive year as the overall Champion Sire.
Under the care of renowned Queensland trainer Chris Munce, 2YO Northern Thunder is building as possibly the next filly by Snitzel to storm her way into the Magic Millions. With Munce identifying her talent early on by requesting that she be named immediately, the ownership dream is set to light up the track and for now at just $330 + $15/month, affordable units are still available.
