Shezawitness stepped out on the track for her second start this afternoon in Race 1 at Sandown. Despite there being just 5 runners in the race, it was a competitive field rallying it out on a very heavy track.
Shezawitness jumped very well out the gates and put in a gutsy effort to finish 4th on a heavy 1 10 track, conditions that are difficult for any horse, let alone a young 3YO having just their second race start. One of our lovely owners filmed the race on her tv, so enjoy the race replay below:
Post-race, jockey Lachlan King said her performance isn’t one to be disappointed with and was happy with how she settled behind the leader in the run.
