Not even the strong winds could stop the excitement felt by owners who travelled to Emeran Park to visit their thoroughbreds this past weekend.Â
Over 150 owners made the trip to Emeran Park on Saturday to visit 3YO filly Not A Royal Doubt and four of our yearlings who were being paraded. Most in attendance had never had the opportunity to see their horse in the flesh before, so it was a day made just for making memories!Â
Following a brief spiel from miRunners CEO Steve Brown, each horse was paraded for owners and given the windy conditions, all yearlings were surprisingly on their best behaviour!Â
Whilst each horse was being paraded, attendees were provided with an in-depth analysis from Emeran Park owner Shannon Betts on how each yearling has progressed on the farm during their early education process.Â
3YO Not A Royal Doubt also made a guest appearance on the day, showing everyone just how different a yearling learning the ropes can look and behave compared to a 3YO.Â
miRunners Bloodstock agent Mick Malone also gave his insight into what catches his eye when he is selecting a horse to purchase, explaining how it goes a lot deeper than bloodlines.
