It’s a day to remember for miRunners and all 560 owners in the Mick Price trained filly Shezawitness, as she won Race 2 at Sale on debut earlier today.
With certainty, we can say the 25 excited owners that made the trip to Sale Racecourse will never forget this day, along with the other 535 Shezawitness owners who were cheering her on from all around the country. It is also a day to remember for everyone at miRunners, as this marks our first win as a syndicate!
Shezawitness jumped well out of the gates, settling fourth in the field before making her run around the turn and in the straight. Jockey Zac Spain did a tremendous job in pulling her to the outside, where she accelerated in the straight and won by a length.

Shezawitness ended up a hot favourite for the race after impressing all with her two trial wins this preparation, and was the tip of the day for punters. That surely didn’t calm the nerves going into the race though for owners though, who were quietly confident but really just wanted her to get around the track safely.
