3yo’s Enrico Pallazzo and Tahlayla brought up a stirring Double for Team Corstens and Malua Racing at Ballarat on Tuesday, each winning their races in very different but definitive ways.
After drawing wide in Race 4, 3YO gelding Enrico Pallazzo had to cover some ground and most of that without cover but gave his rivals a galloping lesson. In doing so, he recorded his first win, winning by an impressive 4.5 lengths.Â
In Race 7, 3YO filly Tahlayla brought up her 3rd win from her last 5 starts with a gutsy all the way victory, stretching out to 1400m for the first time. Despite being challenged in earnest by a couple in the straight she just kept fighting it out, holding on to win by a nose.Â
A great day of racing for trainer Troy Corstens and Malua Racing – congratulations to all involved!Â
Bellarine Beauty trained by Troy CorstensÂ
The stunning filly Bellarine Beauty is trained by Troy Corstens out of his Geelong stables and has returned to commence her second preparation. Last prep, Bellarine Beauty had two impressive trials before being tipped out to the paddock for a brief freshen up.Â
She seems to have returned in great order, and Corstens can’t wait to hopefully get her to the races this time. Watch her latest update below:
