Our Not A Single Doubt x Countess Dehere filly trained by Troy Corstens stepped out today in her first official trial at Werribee, with young jockey Patrick Maloney describing it as “a perfect first trial” by the filly.
She did everything right pre-trial, behaving herself and acting like the ultimate professional in the yard according to trainer Troy Corstens. She jumped out of the barriers really well, managing to lead in the early stages before wobbling a bit around the corner and finishing off the trial strongly, finishing in third place.
Jockey Patrick Moloney didn’t push her too hard in the straight, but was very happy with how the young filly performed. Trainer Troy Corstens is now looking towards another trial in a weeks time so she can get her barrier certificate, before looking for a suitable debut race for the filly.
