It couldn’t have been a better debut for the full sibling of our Not A Single Doubt x Countess Dehere filly. King’s Lady made her debut as a 3YO on Saturday night in Race 3 at Toowoomba, coming in to $1.70 favouritism before the race. After battling 3 wide for majority of the race, 3YO filly King’s Lady showed just how much ability she has when she kicked clear in the straight and won by a length.
The Ben Currie trained filly showed just why it was important for her to wait until she was a fully matured 3YO to make her debut, and it surely paid off. She was ridden well by jockey Nick Keal, who let her find her position in the field and got her to make her move when asked upon in the straight. Watch the replay below:
This win has got us excited for the imminent trial debut for our Not A Single Doubt x Countess Dehere filly trained by Troy Corstens in Geelong. She is expected to hit the track soon, and with what trainer Troy Corstens has said so far about the filly, she definitely has ability on the track. Watch trainer Troy speak of the filly below:
The latest update from Corstens suggests that a trial isn’t too far off for this filly, who keeps performing during track work. He loves the nature of this filly, and sees a lot of potential in her as a racehorse. Watch the latest update below:
