Stablemates Get Stuck In and Ponytales battled it out to the line in the fourth race of the day at Doomben, with 4YO gelding Get Stuck In coming off the better after being forced to race wide for majority of the race. 4YO mare Ponytales also showed a lot of strength in her run, securing a quinella for Gollan Stables. 3YO filly Trail Of Glory eased from $9.50 to $34 on the TAB market prior to taking out the QTIS 3YO Handicap and heading a Tony Gollan trifecta in Race 6 at Doomben on Saturday. Jockey Mark Du Plessis basically had to ride for luck from barrier 9, but knew he had race fitness on his side with the 3YO filly Trail Of Glory. Despite looking the likely winner 100m from the finish line, first-up runner Kittie Kins finished second with in-form race favourite Macewen coming home well late to finish third.
