Lyrical Girl
Lyrical girl was purchased by miRunners for $275 000 (including GST) at the 2018 Gold Coast Magic Millions and is trained by Tony Gollan out of his Eagle Farm stables in Queensland.
Ownership units are still available in this gorgeous filly who is by the exciting sire Your Song, who was a dominant Group One winning 3YO himself. There are high hopes for this filly as her full sister, Hollaback Girl, won convincingly first-up at Doomben last September. Watch Hollaback Girl completely smash the field in that race below:
It can be said that Lyrical Girl holds similar attributes to her father, having already shown precocity and a great amount of ability on the track. Lyrical Girl made her trial debut on December 4 2018 at Doomben Racecourse before being put out for a spell to let her grow and mature further, she now gets ready to head to the races.
Lyrical Girl has now begun her pre-training for this preparation, and is expected back to Gollan’s Eagle Farm Stables in two weeks. With an official trial already under her belt, we can be sure this will benefit her greatly leading into her Autumn preparation. With Queensland’s big 2YO carnival due to kick off in May, we are expecting her to be ready to be competitive throughout the carnival.

Not A Single Doubt x Countess Dehere was purchased by miRunners for $198 000 (including GST), making her available to purchase for just $198 per unit. Troy Corstens and all at Malua Racing Stables in Geelong have been impressed with this filly from day one, and believe she possesses the precocity and early speed of her legendary sire, Not A Single Doubt.
“I think the best thing about this girl is her attitude. She’s just got an amazing attitude and i think that’s a real key to a good filly. She’s also a really good physical specimen. She’s lovely and strong, she’s got a good shoulder and girth, she’s got plenty of drive behind and she’s terrific in front” said Troy.
Troy is excited to get her to the track in six weeks, and thinks there is no better time than now to buy your share in this beautiful filly: “I think it’s an amazing opportunity to buy in with her right now as she’s up and she’s going and she’s about to race and I think that by the time people see how good she is, there might not be any shares left. So i think it’s a really good time and opportunistic to jump in now” said Troy.

Gaelic Puzzle
Gaelic Puzzle is trained by Bjorn Baker out of his Warwick Farm Stables and was available to purchase for $275 per unit and is sold out. She is now scheduled to trial in the coming days, and we couldn’t be more excited for her to kick off her second preparation. This filly showed ability in her first preparation, impressing trainer Bjorn Baker with her first jumpout against a mature 3YO.
Following a short spell before Christmas, the filly came back into Baker Stables better than ever. She has constantly impressed Bjorn and all that work for Baker stables with her attitude both on and off the track, and he can’t wait to get her to the races this preparation.
