Peter Moody urges Queenslanders to jump on board this affordable thoroughbred ownership journey
Legendary trainer Peter Moody is no stranger to the Queensland Racing scene, or the Queensland community. A local Queenslander from country town Wyandra, Moody began his training career in Queensland before relocating to Victoria in 2003 to expand and further establish his stables out of Caulfield.
Peter Moody went on to become Melbourne’s most successful trainer for five seasons running, and was the trainer of one of the best racehorses the world has ever seen, the legendary Black Caviar. Now, Moody has recently joined miRunners as an ambassador to help spread the word of affordable thoroughbred ownership and help the industry he loves most.
Moody is loving the miRunners model and how it offers everyone the chance to own a unit in a premium thoroughbred at such an affordable price. He is particularly excited by the new partnership between miRunners and Racing QLD, and the idea of boosting thoroughbred ownership in his home state.
He is particularly keen for Queenslander’s to get behind local trainers, and the miRunners model that places premium thoroughbreds with them as they train towards winning the Magic Millions, Queensland’s Premier Race.
“For a very low cost and a very low ongoing fee, you have the chance to of being here at Queensland’s premier race day, the Magic Millions $10m day and be mixing it with the best”.
“This is your opportunity, get on board with miRunners. We’re going to be placing horses in the leading stables of Queensland trainers, with well-bred stock that we don’t usually have the opportunity to do” said Moody.
