Prize money for 2019 is confirmed at $3,500,000.
The Golden Slipper is the world’s richest race for juveniles. In technical terms, the Golden Slipper Stakes is an Australian Turf Club Group 1 Thoroughbred horse race for two-year-olds run over 1,200 metres on turf at set weights conditions, held at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Sydney, Australia.

The Slipper has been won by racing royalty such as Sebring and – more recently – has proven to be a key race for horses such as Capitlist and Pierro as well as She Will Reign, the largest group of owners to win ever.
With a record number of nominations received for the Golden Slipper – 2,452 to be precise – there are next round payments, second acceptances and final acceptances before Your Song z Sheeznodoubt is a confirmed runner but every horse’s first nomination is important because it is progressing from the uneducated yearling to a young potential racehorse.

As Tony Gollan – who had a horse int he 2018 Golden Slipper – and his team prepares Your Song x Sheeznodoubt for her journey into racing, we would like you to experience the same journey as part-owners of the filly.
