Zoustar continues to impress as a sire with his best result to date on the weekend: his progeny finishing first AND second in the Group II BRC Sires Produce Stakes at Doomben on Saturday.
A winner on debut at Warwick Farm back in March, Lean Mean Machine stormed home to defeat fellow Group 2 winner, Zousain.

This is Zoustar’s 13th win as a sire and his fourth stakes win. When looking at these wins, keep in mind that 2018 is Zoustar’s debut season as a stallion which makes his results all the more impressive.
With the success of Zoustar progeny and his stock now selling through the roof, the coming days may be the last ever opportunity for you to purchase into a Zoustar colt for only $275.
RECENT NEWS: Zoustar on fire as a sire
miRunners was able to purchase a Zoustar x Shack colt for only $275,000 at the 2018 Gold Coast Magic Millions. It was a touch of fortune and good timing as only three days later, Zoustar’s Sunlight won the Magic Millions Classic which would have driven the cost higher than miRunners’ budget.
The further success of Zoustar progeny means that it will be unlikely that miRunners will ever be able to afford a Zoustar colt or filly ever again. We spoke to miRunners’ Head of Bloodstock Mick Malone who confirmed this.

“If the Zoustar x Shack colt was going through the sales ring today he would be fetching somewhere between $400,000-$600,000,” explained Malone.
“After seeing his development again last week I am thinking it would be at the upper end of this range. We absolutely love him.”
