Who is Australian racing and breeding’s next big thing? Zoustar has a very fair shout as he continued his incredible first season as a sire by being announced as the winner of the 2018 HTBA Champion First Season Sire award.
His first crop includes 2018 Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Sunlight and the exciting Group 2 winner Zousain who took out the Moet & Chandon Classic just last Saturday.

Five winners, six placegetters and three stakes performers have already emerged from his first crop which also include Be My Star, Lean Mean Machine, Madam Rouge, Solar Star. What continues this excitement is that he is now placed for a potentially explosive Queensland carnival.
miRunners and the Australian public are in a very fortunate position in that they secured a Zoustar colt from the Gold Coast Magic Millions auctions just three days before his filly Sunlight won the 2YO Magic Millions Classic.
RECENT NEWS: Majority of units sold in promising Zoustar colt
What this means is that you can purchase a unit in the Zoustar x Shack colt (with bloodlines that include Canny Lad – a Golden Slipper winner) for just $275. Monthly fees are $15 for your first unit and $5 for any additional units.
With Zoustar’s progeny exploding onto the scene, he is booked out for 2018 with breeders unable to get into him. If these early signals are telling, it is possible that miRunners won’t be able to afford Zoustar’s progeny in the future.
All Zoushack units have now been purchased.
