With five places in a row, including two wins, Zoushack’s half brother is making quite a name for himself.
In what is a very encouraging sign for new and potential owners of the David Hayes-trained Zoushack colt, his half-brother – Love Shack Baby – now has two wins, two seconds and two thirds from just nine starts.

This includes the seriously impressive run last week where he absolutely bolted in against a big field on Thursday at the Wagga Cup carnival to claim first place in the Moane Fitzgerald Civil Class One & Maiden Plate (1600m) by four lengths.
As a number of astute onlookers have observed, Shack, who is by the noted broodmare sire in Canny Lad and already the producer of the G1 Blue Diamond placed Metonymy, has never been bred to a stallion as exciting as Zoustar.
Zoustar is Australia’s leading first season sire in 2018 with his progeny already having won the Magic Millions 2YO Classic amongst others. If you did wish to breed to him this year, you wouldn’t be able to get in – he is already booked out!
