Rubick x Slainte is continuing to grow and fill out into a beautiful filly with a real sprinting style, good girth, a nice hind quarter with a huge overstride and is without a doubt a very athletic filly.
Having recently completed her fantastic education process, the intelligent filly is now undergoing pre-training to increase her workload and is handling it with no fuss and is just making it look really easy according to Shannon Betts, Owner and Founder of Emeran Park – where Rubick x Slainte is undergoing her training process.
The filly’s attitude has also been complemented: trainer Bjorn Baker has very high hopes for her and the owners can expect this filly to show up reasonably early. She is very mature and sensible and was the talk of Willow Park’s draft for her ability to handle the pressure of the sale: a very encouraging signal for any racehorse.

Athleticism and Personality a match for Bjorn Baker
Rubick x Slainte is a filly that impressed Glen Burrow, owner of Willow Park stud from day one. She has never had any issues, she has never been sick, had no x-ray problems and is 100% clean.
As Glenn further explains, “she has a fantastic temperament and is bred on speed on speed.”
Her mother, Slainte, had a great style, she was big, strong and athletic and extremely fast. She broke track records over 1,000 metres and was continually leading from the gate.
All these characteristics are really pleasing for trainer, Bjorn Baker who has already produced numerous excitement machines with winners such as Winning Rupert, Unencumbered and Twilight Royale.
