UPDATE: Not A Royal Doubt has sold out with the Australian public purchasing all 1,000 available units. If you missed out it is okay, click Our Stables to view our range of available horses and trainers.
When working with animals, especially in racing, simply having the best intentions doesn’t mean that things will go to plan. It’s a common story where, despite grand plans and the best of intentions, things can go awry.
This isn’t always the case though: especially when plans are well thought out, have experience and proven success behind them and are executed to perfection, it will increase the chances of fruition and ensure you have a great time as an owner.
RELATED NEWS: Why we purchased Not A Royal Doubt
At miRunners we purchase high quality thoroughbreds, we educate in first class facilities and have them trained by some of the best trainers in the world. Whilst this does not guarantee results it is the proven pathway to maximise our chances as a group of achieving on racing’s biggest stage.
FINAL UNITS: Not A Royal Doubtclose to selling out
Last week we received an update on the Not A Royal Doubt (stable name of Pearl) from her pre-training centre at Emeran Park. Watching her evolve has us feeling very encouraged by her physical and mental progress, however lets firstly talk about the other stars that are already in place for Pearl.
Pedigree
Pearl is by Not A Single Doubt. A noted sire of early runners, Not A Single Doubt’s progeny sold up to $1,050,000 at last week’s Inglis Easter Sale. He is without a doubt one of the most sort after stallions in Australia.
As his two-year-old statistics show below, our filly is every possible chance of getting off to a flying start with first preparations for the early 2YO races rapidly approaching.
Analysis by Crop: 2YO Only
Her training environment
Alongside her father Tommy Smith, Gai Waterhouse is history’s most successful trainer of two-year-olds in Australia and most likely the world. Interestingly since 2000, Gai wins the Golden Slipper on average every three years. It is worth noting that next year’s running will be four years since Gai won with Vancouver…
Temperament
It takes a number of unique qualities in a young horse to flourish in the early racing pressures of 2YO racing.
- The Not A Single Doubt/ Royal Pageant filly has been incredibly well educated
- She has an outstanding pedigree and sire line
But does she have the mental maturity and physicality to be an early 2YO runner? We have our own view, but please watch last week’s update and make your own call.
You can purchase into this very promising filly for only $275 per unit plus a monthly fee of $15 for your first unit by clicking here. Monthly fees for any additional units are just $5.
