Nominations are now open to name miRunners’ second horse, Star Witness x Peahen with a great prize for the winning entry.
Who is this horse?
Shezawitness was purchased by miRunners at the 2018 Gold Coast Magic Millions for $198,000 with legendary trainer Mick Price coming on board to train the filly.
Following the proven miRunners model, the horse was split into 1,000 ownership units with members of the public available to purchase ownership in the horse for only $198 plus a $15 monthly fee for their first unit ($5 for any additional units).

Shezawitness sold out in February 2018 but there have been other miRunners horses added since: all following the miRunners model of quality thoroughbreds matched up with Australia’s best trainers.
Why am I naming this horse?
From day one of miRunners’ existence, it has been about the collective power of the public and the racing community.
As well as making racehorse ownership affordable, everyday Australians have been involved in naming miRunners’ first horse, Saganaki, as well as designing the miRunners racing silks.
Allowing the public to submit names for the next horse is a continuation of that mantra.

After the public nominations, the entries will be shortlisted based on Racing Australia’s naming regulations. The shortlisted names will then be voted on by the owners of Shezawitness.

How do I get involved in affordable ownership?
There are four horses currently available, all with great pedigree/characteristics and matched with top trainers from around the country.
All the available horses below were purchased for $275,000 so units will cost $275 with monthly fees of $15 for your first unit and $5 for any additional unit. Fees cover training, insurance, admin, feed, legal, transport etc.
